The tour takes place only in the hilly, planted with vines. We start from Voghera whose first settlements date back to the Neolithic period. We head to Rivanazzano Terme whose origins date back to 1006. From here we move about 3 Km in Salice Terme (Fraction of Godiasco Salice Terme). Initially, the spa town was referred to as the "locum salis", then became Sales, indicating the presence of a source from which water flows thermal salsobromoiodic. Let's go back to Retorbido whose first records appear in the Middle Ages, although it is believed that since humanistic Retorbido corresponds to the ancient Ligurian city of Litubium cited a passage from Livy with Clastidium (current Casteggio). If we have with us we can use the bike for a nice walk from Retorbido in Voghera or Salice Terme along the cycle path built on the seat of the electric railway Voghera - Varzi. We pass Codevilla consists of two historically important centers: the current Chief Town and its population Mondondone. We pass Torrazza Coste which is part of the National Association of Wine Cities, along with 37 other cities in Lombardy and head Casteggio, from its origins in Liguria, belonging to the people that the Greeks called Anamari. From Casteggio, we continue to Piacenza for a few kilometers until Santa Giulietta, not to miss the opportunity of a visit to the castle (in the homonymous village), on the top of the hill, where the original plant (XII century) there are only wineries once inhospitable prisons. Let's go back to Casteggio and go up the hill to Montalto Pavese, a destination for many tourists and model airplane enthusiasts who go to the Belvedere resort, located on the crest of a hill and is subject to strong winds. Also known for its castle which, given the altitude at which it is placed, and given its location, is visible from most of Lombardy, even from long distances. Lirio and cross we pass from Rocca de 'Giorgi, home to an ancient parish in the diocese of Piacenza and we reach S. Maria della Versa, known since the ninth century. From here we bring to the nearby Montescano, mentioned already in 1164 and now home to a famous medical care and rehabilitation. At this point we descend in Broni, where he was probably the Roman town, mentioned in two routes of Roman antiquity as Comillomagus, or Cameliomagus. By Broni we finish our itinerary in Stradella, whose history is confused, in the Middle Ages, with the ancient town of Montalino, located on a small hill on the southern outskirts of the city today. Stradella was for many decades one of the main centers of production of the accordion in the world.
