The History
Bivio Carmine is a hamlet that makes part of Ruino. It is situated on the border of the Coppa valley, just after the Carmine Pass, at an altitude of 600 m. The Pass is an important intersection, being connected to a few valleys, namely the Scuropasso valley, the valley of the Ghiaie of Montalto Pavese, or Ghiaie di Coppa, or Ghiaia of Rice and the Tidone valley behind the Carmine Pass.
